On our campus, helping people learn about Jesus looks like a concert, a Bible study, a seminar, a church service, helping others move into a dorm room or making a friend in gymnastics. Helping others learn about Jesus looks like a student becoming an evangelist, a missionary, a VBS leader, a Sabbath School teacher or a home church leader. 

One of the things happening on campus right now is preparations for mission trips. Our students dedicate a lot of time outside of class to learn how to give sermons, and raise funds. In Junior English class, students create an action plan with detailed weekly steps to accomplish their goal. Several of our mission trip students are opting to create and follow through on action plans to share about Christ and missions through various social media platforms this semester. They are learning how to film and edit, create a buzz about missions on their social media accounts, and upload spiritual messages and vlogs (a video blog).

Because of their time at Sunnydale, these students are excited about sharing God with those around them, not only on campus and during mission trips, but weekly through social media. Our teachers and staff have partnered with their families to be part of building a strong spiritual foundation.

As with most schools, Sunnydale faces financial challenges in maintaining and enhancing the quality of education, spiritual support, and facilities we provide to our students. We believe that all of the students that come onto our campus deserve the opportunity to receive an education that not only prepares them for the challenges of living in our world, but instills within them a sense of God’s purpose for their lives.

Because of this, our students are equipped to learn how to effectively spread the gospel message in ways we would have never dreamed possible 10 years ago.
